The following are current action items regarding current projects for committees.
Internal Communications Committee
- Work with the Marketing Communications committee to identify target audiences and key messages.
- Work with the Marketing Communications committee to create PowerPoint
presentations:
- General presentation

- Plan and schedule PowerPoint presentations and mini-seminars:
- Certified Printer Program
- Print-to-Web Program
- Preparing files to printers
- Photocopying 101
- Retreat breakout topics

Marketing Communications Committee
- Develop overall marketing communications strategy
- Work with the Internal Communications Committee to plan/execute guerilla campaign to create awareness for "Think Before You Ink"
- Work with InterComm to plan/execute guerilla campaign to create awareness
for “Think before you ink.”

- Work with InterComm to create PowerPoint presentation

- Create supporting graphics for use on visual media such as the MyUFL splash page

PR Committee
- Draft letter requesting colleges and units to do a spend analysis on
printing and copying
- Determine source
- Consider format
- Draft letter(s) from Bernie, (Kyle, Matthew Fajack) to deans, department
heads, accounting staff
- Announce/explain programs, communicate importance of participation, provide instructions on how to proceed.
- Draft general press releases for the media to announce/explain programs
- Distribute press releases to appropriate media
- Inside UF, Alligator, Sun, college newsletters, etc.
Publications Committee
- Outline specific guidelines for both programs
- Define requirements for printer certification to be used by Purchasing for the ITN
- Write guidelines for print-to-web conversion – how to determine if a publication should be converted; how to implement conversion
- Identify/create support tools and services for both programs
- Write instructions for using certified printers
- Design downloadable job management forms to facilitate interaction with printers
- Work with WebComm to determine which tools and support services will be needed to facilitate conversion

Web and Electronic Communications Committee
- Identify/create content for web site
- Develop site/coordinate hosting/support
Chairs Committee
- Develop timeline
- Develop procedures for reporting and assessing progress
Purchasing
- Draft ITNs and negotiate with printers and photocopy vendors
- Develop accounting codes for sub-categories of printing and copying
